Cheryl M. Kirkbride

Cheryl Kirkbride has worked for the firm in various capacities since 1992. A graduate of Smithville High School, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University in English, obtained her teaching certificate from the College of Wooster and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Akron Law School in January 2001.

 In addition, Cheryl currently serves the City of Orrville as its Law Director and the Village of Smithville as Solicitor.

 Cheryl is also a title insurance agent and has previously taught law and business classes at The University of Akron/Wayne College. 

 Cheryl serves as president of the Wayne County Volunteer Guardianship Association and is a Trustee for the Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club and Wayne County Community Foundation.  Cheryl lives outside of Orrville with her husband, John, and four children.  Cheryl previously served on the Board of Trustees for both the Orrville Public Library and Orrville Area Development Foundation.  The Kirkbrides are involved with the Wooster Oilers Jr. Hockey League as a billet family and Cheryl also serves as the team’s legal advisor and college coordinator. Cheryl and her family are active members of Orrville Christian Church.
